Made by Hand. Made for Chicago.
Made fresh by hand, every single day. We're a small local business built by a pastry chef and an architect: one shapes the dough, the other shapes the space, and together we bring you real sourdough bagels the way they're meant to be. Chicago style means something different, and we're proud of it. Like the classics, our bagels are boiled and baked, but each one is hand-rolled and made with a slow sourdough fermentation, giving them a lighter crumb, a subtly tangy bite, and a golden, craveable crust. It's a bagel built for Chicago, not a copy of anywhere else.
Metric Coffee is guided by (radical transparency) and the (transformative power) of a fair price. They currently work with about eight countries, each bringing unique coffees, compelling stories, and remarkable people. Metric is also a Certified B Corp, verifying their social and environmental performance, public transparency and legal accountability.
Midwest Rock N’ Routes is a Midwest-based coalition of affinity groups (Escala Chicago, Chicago Climbs, Adaptive Climbing Group, Chicago Adventure Therapy, BIPOC Beta, Queers on the Rocks, Climb Big Chicago, Asian Climbing Collective Chicago and more) dedicated to breaking down barriers to the outdoors by creating inclusive climbing opportunities, fostering leadership through outdoor education, and empowering climbers of all levels with access, skills and experiences in a safe, equitable and diverse environment. Our annual event at Devils Lake State Park is an outdoor rock climbing festival, designed by and for climbers from historically marginalized communities.
